HELP & TIPS

Your tasks:

  • Who tried to kill Agneta Hellwig?

  • Which of the seven saved the old lady´s life?

  • How was the poison given to the hostess?

  • Who owns the phone found at the crime scene?

Under each heading you’ll find one or more clues. Think carefully about whether you need a clue—and if so, when. If you get stuck, it can help to get nudged back onto the right track. But if you look too early, you might take away some of the fun of investigating.

Police website for Bremerburgen

Can’t find the Bremerburgen police website?

Take another look at all the documents. One of them gives the exact web address!

You’ll find the exact web address in the police cover letter.

The police website address is: www.pk12755-intern.de

You’re already on the website but can’t access the internal section?

Take another look at all the documents. One of them contains the case reference number for internal access!

You’ll find the case reference number for internal access in the police cover letter.

The case reference number for internal access is: 142/22/12755

Ms. Köhler’s Desk (Internal Section)

I’m in the internal section at Ms. Köhler’s desk, but I don’t know what to do there.

Take a close look around. There are several clickable action areas on the desk.

Among other things, you’ll find a voice recorder, the initial crime scene report, a city map of Bremerburgen, a computer with a keyboard, and several other small items that you should examine more closely.

What should I do with the city map on Ms. Köhler’s desk?

To visit locations or people in Bremerburgen, you’ll be asked to enter a 6-digit code. Take another look at all the documents—maybe you’ll find one or more of these numbers.

On the “City Map” document, you can see several 6-digit numbers.
Enter them to visit the location or the person who lives there.

What should I do with the computer on Ms. Köhler’s desk?

From time to time, you’ll come across a 6-digit code in various documents. To learn more about the related items, enter the code here. Alternatively, you can use the QR code printed next to it on the document to go directly to the corresponding page.

It’s up to you whether you enter the code using Ms. Köhler’s computer or access it via a QR code scanner.

The Van

You’re not sure how to open the van?

Have you visited the Bender-Beckmanns’ home yet?

Take a very close look at the donation flyer again.

On the front of the donation flyer, you’ll find a web address that you might want to visit.

Everything worked, but you still can’t move forward?

On the Bremerburgen animal shelter’s website, there are also several animals that have been found or surrendered and are now looking for a new home. You might want to take a closer look there.

To adopt an animal, simply click on the corresponding image in the gallery.

Didn’t Detective Dreyer mention in her cover letter that Agneta kept asking about her pet?

Maybe you’ll find a clue in one of the documents about what Agneta’s pet looks like.

Take a close look at Agneta Hellwig’s Instapic printout. You’ll find a photo of her cat there. That should make it easier for you to pick her out from all the other cats.

Who are the people in the videos from the night of the incident?

You have four videos from the evening of May 21 in front of you, but you don’t know who you’re seeing?

Take your time and watch the videos very carefully. Sometimes it helps to hit pause—this way you won’t miss any details.

Each person in the videos can be identified by a specific detail. These could be items that belong to them or physical characteristics.

If you’ve noticed distinctive details but can’t match them to any of the guests, you may not have reviewed all the case-relevant documents or other information yet. Before you read on, make sure you take another close look at everything—videos you’ve already watched can help, too.

Find out who the pink lipstick belongs to—the one used to tap the substance into the glass!

Find out who the owner of the signet ring is!

Find out who was scratched on the arm by the cute cat!

Find out who is wearing a gold wristwatch!

Take a look at the document “Wristwatch Invoice” and make sure you’ve already watched the videos from Agneta’s house.
Examine the crime scene photos of the guests carefully.
Make sure you’ve visited all the available individuals in their homes.

The phone found at the crime scene

You have no idea who the phone belongs to?

Take a close look at the document from all sides. Maybe you’ll find something that looks familiar.

The cat sticker on the back appears elsewhere in the game. If you haven’t visited all the people yet, you should do so now.

The locked door in the crime scene area

You’re already at the crime scene but don’t know how to get further into the house through the locked door?

After revealing the second section of the crime scene map, you’ll find a locked door. Below it, there’s a web address that you should visit.

On the website, you’ll be asked to enter the key number found on the matching key. Take another close look around! Have you seen one or more keys anywhere?

Du findest mehrere Schlüssel im Spiel: einen in der Handtasche die am Tatort vergessen wurde und mehrere auf Frau Köhlers Schreibtisch.

On Ms. Köhler’s desk, you’ll find a keyring with the tag “An der Lärche 4.” You should take a closer look at it. It has the code: CT4L

4-digit numbers on the city map

You don’t know how to visit the two addresses that only have a 4-digit number?

As you may have noticed, two digits seem to be missing for some locations on the city map. Take another careful look at all the documents—maybe you’ll find them somewhere.

In the conversation note Ms. Köhler created, she lists two tasks that are still pending:

  1. Visit Ms. Schuman

  2. Go to the lab to request the misplaced lab report again.

Next to each note, there’s a 2-digit number.
Now you just need to match each of these to the correct 4-digit number on the city map. The list of people may help you with this.

The poison

You’re not sure which object was used to poison Agneta Hellwig?

Take a look at the sample catalog and make sure you’ve already read the lab report.

After visiting the lab and obtaining the misplaced report again, you should compare it with the numbers in the sample catalog. This will show you which object contained traces of the toxin.
You may also want to take another look at all the photos from the night of the crime—perhaps you’ll spot the object in one or more of the images.

General Hints

You can decide at any time whether you’d prefer to use a QR code scanner or take the more “traditional” route via the search function on Ms. Köhler’s computer or the city map to access the relevant page.
